The Men Of Color Alliance is a Publicis Groupe business resource group (BRG) that adds perspective, guidance and resources to increase the visibility and participation of men of color in the marketing and communications industry. How do they fulfill their purpose? By focusing on four pillars: recruiting, acclimation, retention and business development.
Dedicated to bringing more diversity to Atlanta’s advertising and marketing space, JWT Atlanta, 22squared, Fitzgerald & Co. and Moxie came together to form a coalition called Advertising For Change. Complete with internships, career-building tools, mentors and more, this partnership not only attracts diverse talent to Atlanta—it retains and grows it.
Focused on introducing the youth to the marketing space, this one-week summer program exposes the many facets of advertising to children in grades 10–12. The students will interact with professionals and college professors, and learn about strategic planning, the creative process, media management, account planning and more. To top it off, the students will use teamwork, networking and their newfound skills to create and present a marketing campaign of their own.
This Publicis Groupe’s business resource group (BRG) for women and their allies is dedicated to providing a unified global program that inspires action and collaboration to push equal contribution and the value of women in the Power of One. Founded in Paris, it now has a true global presence and is ultimately helping Publicis Group to recruit and retain high-performing talent.
This Moxie business resource group (BRG) is dedicated to empowering and enriching female employees. AMELIA is complete with group mentoring, leadership forums, speaker’s series and philanthropy. The best part? Amelia programming and events are open to everyone.
French for “equality” and pronounced eh-gah-lee-tay, this Publicis Groupe business resource group (BRG) promotes inclusion and empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees and their allies. The program is open to all Publicis Groupe employees.
Co-founded by Moxie, AdPR Academy is a week-long boot camp certificate program geared towards students at HBCUs. The first ever boot camp session was recently hosted in 2017 by Moxie, and it’ll continue to take place every spring.
Moxie’s involvement in the 4As program—Multicultural Advertising Intern Program—promotes inclusion and diversity in the advertising agency. MAIP fellows are granted full-time paid internships, and they participate in a series of agency-sponsored professional development workshops and seminars to get a deeper dive into the various advertising and media disciplines. The workshops are also a great opportunity for the fellows to learn about the host agency’s culture through networking with agency professionals.
Reinforced by VivaWomen! and the Publicis Groupe Diversity Council, VivaMama! is a business resource group specifically created to support the agencies’ working mothers and their allies. The program strives to improve the professional and personal lives of the talent by encouraging members to communicate, share best practices and make recommendations.
